Covid-19 Catch Up Premium

The government has provided the school with additional funding to enhance our strategy for supporting children in their return to school.

We are using this funding to provide additional staffing so that a broad suite of interventions can be implemented across the school. This will ensure that children receive carefully targeted support so that they continue to reach academic standards they were progressing towards before the onset of the pandemic.

This academic support will also involve the use of small group and 1 to 1 tuition as part of the National Tutoring Programme and academic mentoring.

We also recognise that children and families need additional social and emotional support in returning to school and aspects of this funding will strengthen our structures for supporting this. We are prioritising this support so that we secure a well attended and confident return to the school setting.
